AaC Web Lab Launch Party

Colonialism isn’t a thing of the past. The Affect and Colonialism Web Lab brings together researchers, journalists, activists, and artists all over the world interested in the affective lives and afterlives of colonialism.

We want to celebrate the launch of the Affect and Colonialism Web Lab and its first digital exhibition SYSTEMIC AFFECTS – EUROCENTRISM AS PERIPHERY, curated by our fellows, Luiza Prado and Jaider Esbell. Together they set up an exhibition on the Affect and Colonialism Web Lab featuring works of Obar Ejimiwe, Bassem Saad, Maria-Gracia Latedjou & Mwana Pwo, Wanderson Wapixana, Gustavo Caboco, Lucilene Wapixana, Roseane Cadete and Emanuel Wapixana.

There will be a video screening curated by Luiza Prado and Jaider Esbell starting at 7 p.m., fingerfood, bar service and music by Folly Ghost.

We will check the required covid-regulations (3-G rules: vaccination, negative antigen-test result or recovered) at the entry. We hope to see you there!
