“If women one day got furious” is part of a series of three poems in which Adriana Rodrigues Novais expands her understanding of the fight and resistance the Brazilian Landless Workers’ Movement (MST) is involved in. The writings express the pains and the celebrations that permeate various moments in her activism. They contain dimensions of collective struggle against the current capitalist, patriarchal, colonial and racist order. “If women one day got furious” integrates a collection published after the first National Festival of Arts and Culture on Land Reform, which took place in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
